Hi, we have a 2015 S All4. 85k miles. The other day my wife took it to our local valvoline for an oil change. We have always taken the car there with no issues. Later that night I punched it to pass and the red oil can icon lit up and beeped for a split second and vanished. Took it back the next day for the techs to check everything and all was good.

I took it out and beat the snot out of it and could not coax the icon to make another appearance. It’s been fine for a few days and this morning while my wife was driving to work it happened again. She accelerated to pass and it showed up for a split second and vanished. Oil level was full.

I’d really like to avoid taking it to the dealer. Any suggestions?

 

Makes me question if they have the correct weight oil in it.
