Turbo spooling right after start up
2012 Countyman 2wd 109k
So back in March i had my HPFP replaced under warranty, and they also did the footwell module.. when I got it back I noticed upon start up my turbo kicks on a spools.. any thoughts or help? I'm thinking I could try to get it replaced under warranty. My shop does plenty of business this motor group that's affiliated with this dealership..

I don't have a lot of experience with turbos, but I see you don't have a response.
I don't see how your turbo could be spooling up without the engine idling faster. Engine RPMs increase pushing more gasses into the exhaust which in turn spins the turbo faster. Without higher engine speed, the turbo can't spool up. I guess maybe if there was a serious restriction in the exahust pipe such that more gasses were directed towards the turbo.
Or perhaps you hear air coming from it, like the wastegate is stuck open?
Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will tune in. I know at one point I attempted to find the turbo boost pressure data with the Schwaben scan tool, couldn't find it. If that's data that can be found maybe you could read it and compare to some benchmark value.
