I have a 2013 Countyman S All4 72kmiles on it.
On my way to work this morning I noticed my car felt “off” would get up to speed but didn’t have that punch it usually does. as soon as I got To work my engine code popped up. Calling for P1339
any ideas? I saw Online it’s showing camshaft sensor.

A search turns up some hits on this subject. What I gather is the code is one that needs a qualified MINI/BMW tech to properly diagnose and rectify.

It could be just a sensor problem but it might be something deeper something like the cam timing has "jumped".

About all you can do is I guess check to make sure there is the correct amount of oil in the engine and if not top it up with the correct oil and see if that helps. If it does not I' shut off the engine and get it to a qualified MINI/BMW shop (dealer or an indy if you have one handy) ASAP.

I would avoid running the engine any to reduce the risk of collateral damage to the engine.

 

Thanks for the info, I found similar info when I tried Searching, and I even Called my local mini dealer and they told me they can’t tell me anything on that code because it’s generic.
I have my brother in-law who’s a mechanic bringing his gold scanner home to run some quick test before I contact The money vault known as Mini service.
the engine light has gone off for now btw
