OEM Odometer/Radio swap with OEM Touchscreen radio/odometer

Hello all,

I just bought a 2011 Mini Cooper Countryman S that has the generic odometer and radio. I just bought the touchscreen factory radio and odometer from a 2012 Mini Cooper Countryman S and went to install in it mine and the wiring harness is different. I also bought the heated seat controller and heated seats to swap out with mine and the connector on one side is different as well. Are there any aftermarket conversion kits that are plug and play to make the wiring harness that is installed in my car be able to fit the connectors of the upgraded parts?

Have a look in the "Modifications" section under Electrical. I seem to remember Heiker making these kind of changes.

R60 has never come with a "touch screen" display. Touching it does nothing.

yep, dont press the screen as you can damage it if you press too hard. BMW group did not go to touch screen till lately as in euro/gemany people do not really use them as when you touch the screen it will get dirty. They finally added that when the demand from the USA side finally grew in the F series MINI.. Thats what i heard from the US product team.
