Hi guys,
I have a 2012 countryman base with about 85K mile son it. I was looking in to changing the transmission filter and fluid. I was looking at the kits available on ECS tuning. Has anyone used the kits other than OEM? Always nice to save a few bucks but if sticking to to OEM is best so be it. Are there anything to be aware of when performing this? Thanks for any input.

One is genuine for the people that one buy that. One is Eneos which is the oil provider for the Aisin transmission( MINIs factory automatic transmission). Pretty much the same as genuine, just a lower cost option. Redline is the trusted brand here in America and many performance guys like it because it meets or exceeds the specs, also you get some free stuff with that kit. Hope that helps. I ordered the OEM gasket, filter and drain plug from ECS and bought Valvoline MaxLife ATF locally.
