Cooling system capacity

I'm trying to find the cooling system capacity for my car (2013 Countryman S All4). It's been more difficult than I expected. I don't yet have the Bentley manual. Searches on NAM either returned too many threads to go through (with no obvious candidates based on subject) or almost none. Searches on the broader internet produced several different results. The one I'm most inclined to believe turned up in two places, including Amsoil's site: 6.3 quarts (6 liters). Is that the right number?

The reason I want to know the capacity is so that when I change the coolant, I can do an actual flush and fill. After draining, I want to flush a couple of times with distilled water. Then I'll put in half of the system capacity (3.15 quarts, if the above number is correct) of undiluted coolant and top off with distilled water, giving the correct 50/50 mix. This raises another question: in order to do this procedure, draining after the final flush will have to remove at least 3.15 quarts (again, assuming the above capacity) in order to be able to add enough of the undiluted coolant. Does the standard drain procedure (by the lower left hose) remove at least half of the coolant?

Can anyone give me an idea of how much coolant drains when removing the lower radiator hose? Thanks.
