Do any of you have a wind noise that starts around 40mph? Sitting in the drivers seat, it sounds like it is coming from the center section. I cannot locate it though. It is not related to the climate control, as I can turn that off, and the noise is still there, and it stops when I get below ~40. If I sit in the passenger seat, I swear it is coming from the driver's window.
This will be a discussion at our 2nd date, but I was wondering if I am alone, or if it is a common issue on a F60 S.

Thanks for the reply. No roof rack, just the stock side roof rails. No exterior options.Originally Posted by mikey_t

I hope not. My hardtop does not do that. I can hear it over the radio. I do not believe that should be normal..Originally Posted by nielsenp

I wouldn't call it normal, my 2015 doesn't do it. Have them check your door and windshield weather stripping.

Yes, wind-wise my car is very quiet... Tire and road noise is whole other story... runflats Originally Posted by mikey_t

true... they are 2010-16, but not until 2011 in the US. I was just pointing out that the 2017 is not an R60 and this is the "R60 :: Countryman Talk" sub.Originally Posted by mikey_t

I see that you've made that comment elsewhere in this forum and we are all aware that the 2017 is an F series. I guess that when they finally get around to setting up a separate F60 forum we can keep answering questions about the F60 on the R60 forum. They're similar enough with regards to the OP's query.Originally Posted by BlakeC

Yeah, we're just offering our point of view and experiences with the R60 knowing they're not that different in this regard.Originally Posted by BlakeC

Yes, just picked up my countryman today and noticed a faint whistle, like there is a bad seal somewhere above me
Did you ever get a fix for this?

The suspense is making me loose my hair!

Too late all gone.....

Took it to Mini of Mt Laurel on Tuesday night. On Wednesday, they determined it was a bad seal. Seal arrived Thursday, but too late for repair (or mechanic was busy.) Picked up an hour ago, ride home was quiet! YEAH! It is a good thing the 4-door loaner S was fun to drive!
