Hi, I got the JB+ (n18 burger tuning plug and play) installed in my Mini Cooper S (R60) and as soon as I started the car I got a check engine light, I decided to give it some time and about 2 weeks have passed and I still have the check engine light, car is fine, I don't feel anything wrong rather than the extra power im getting from the JB+. Why do I have the check engine light on and how can i clear it? Btw. I have a NM Engineering intake on my car too. I appreciate your help guys.
Where did you buy it? There have been some fake JB+ floating on EBay now

Hi Mario, is there a way to determine if the JB+ is fake or not?
Can you post a picture of it

Having the same problem on my R57 just got back home in limp mode, scancode came up with P00BD.
P00BD is a MAF error. Can you unplug the JB+ and plug it back in? maybe the connection is loose since it plugs into the MAF.
Just unplugged the JB+ cleared the error and the motor is running again no problems and no codes.
The car ran fine yesterday when i went for a blast on the freeway
***UPDATE***
So I uninstalled the JB+ and took it out on the freeway no problems ran perfect and normal, so when I got home I went through the whole install procedure locking doors letting it sit for 30 mins or so and then reconnected the unit back in. I then again went back onto the freeway and about 20 mins into the ride in the outside lane the engine lost all power and went into limp home mode at 80 mph.
I had my OBD2 scanner in the car and checked the code again P00BD (MAF error)came up so went disconnected the JB on the side of the freeway let things settle down and cleared the code and set of again and all is well again no codes and problems? I did install a K&N filter in the car this week and a Sprint Booster but i am not sure if either of these would affect the JB+ and throw out a MAF sensor error, any ideas would be appricated thanks

Reason: Update
Had the same thing happen to my 2016 Countryman S last week. The dealership installed the Burger Tuner; check engine light, another Burger Tuner; Check engine light again. The dealership called Burger. Turns out both of the ones they tried to install in my car were bad! Waiting for the dealership to get more this week and try again. Remaining optimistic but not too impressed right now.

Wonder how they determined they were bad ? is there away to test these units or do they have to be sent back for testing

@Davers... Not sure. The dealership is pro, those guys are great. I trust that they know what they are doing with the Burger Tuners. They install them all the time. Mine was the first 2016 Countryman they had installed one in tho. They contacted Burger and determined that the Tuners were bad. Trying again this week when some more come in off the truck. So anxious to drop the Burger in and get it going in my car!
I bought a used one but cannot tell if its a bad unit or not? so I bit the bullet and ordered a new one with at least some backup warranty from Burger Tuning if i have any problems with the new unit
@davers. Im catching up on this thread. Did you buy a knock-off Burger tuner mistakenly?
Thought I was getting a deal reported to the seller and ebay and have got a refund coming, this is a first for me on ebay but hopefully the photos might give people a little reference to watch out for
