I am currently looking to buy a 2012 countryman s all4. Wife and I like the car, have driven a few, but, What does the mini certified warranty cover? I would rather pay 2 grand more for a certified car from a mini dealer to be covered till 100k, but it seems like the warranty doesn't cover everything.

Anyone have any ideas or experience with this? any ideas? I really like the car, but if the warranty will not cover normal repairs, I will have to pass and get something else..

Ask the used car manager at the dealer. The guidelines can change yearly, but when you purchase the car it keeps the coverage of the guidelines at that time... if that makes sense.

The coverage is exclusionary-based. They should have a list of items that are "not covered" under CPO/NEXT. Anything not on that list is covered

 

Already purchased.. 2012 CMS all4. 31k miles. Warranted till 100k or 6 years. CPO covers a lot. Love the car so far.
