Changing out mirror caps?

So my husband bought a new F55 S. His '11 Countryman will be going off to college with our daughter. She is so excited and loves the Countryman. All except the bright green mirror caps. I have the black ones in my garage and want to switch them out before she goes off to school. Is this just a matter of popping of the current ones or does it require some sort of tool skill? As I recall we do have the power fold mirrors.

No skill needed, just a plastic trim tool.

I was afraid of breaking something so I took mine to the dealer. Took the tech about 5 minutes to do both mirrors. They didn't charge me and I purchased the caps on line.

Thanks all. I just bought a set of plastic trim tools a few weeks ago so now have a reason to break open the package.
Daughter will be so relieved.

See if this thread on NAM may be of assistance when you switch out the caps. It should work for a Countryman as well.
