Intake kit.

Now I know this is a redundant question, so don't shoot me please.

I want to upgrade the intake on my 2013 Countryman S All4. This is only one of a very few performance upgrades I intend to do, so I want the best system out there.

What do you all suggest? AEM says they don't make one for mine. So who else? You all have the experience if you have already installed one on your Countrman. So I'm trusting you to guide me along. What can I expect by installing an intake system? I don't race, but stop light to stop light sure is fun!

Thanks!

ECS seems to have the prettiest one http://www.ecstuning.com/Mini-2011-C...16A/ES2719002/

too me it is mostly for sound, I don't think you get any real noticeable performance out of any of these set ups. I just have a K&N flat panel filter, rather spend money elsewhere.

There are quite a few threads discussing intakes for the CM if you are looking for reviews.

VIP is what I had on mine and I was super happy with it. The extra breathing noises it made along with the extra little bit of power made my CM that much more fun to drive.

As a vendor that sells intakes I'd love to talk you into one. But the reality is intakes just don't make the big numbers often claimed. Getting 3hp out of an intake is the best you should expect.
So if you want an intake for some noise check out the DDM street intake as it's really cost effective.
If your looking for performance check out other mods such as a downpipe, intercooler or tune.
