2012 Countryman--- should I jump?????

I've been pricing the new Countryman's... and have found a 2012 Countryman, Manual, 2WD, 28k miles, SportsPackage, Heated Seats,Sunroof... with my 1999 Rodeo S as a trade-in.. I can get the Mini for $19,700.

TELL ME ... IS THAT A DEAL OR WHAT?

sounds quite good. The market for these is very soft. Recently signed a purchase order on a 2012 CM S former loaner with 8500 miles(CPOd) for $22,500. There are some awesome deals out there!

Is that the S version? I love my 2012 countryman S, but the non S seems severely underpowered.

For a sec I thought I'd found my Countryman... but then I drove it. Oh my...
the base Countryman has less power than my base R50. It also had been in a wreck in August of last year. So I called the MINI Dealer from which it was originally delivered, and asked them to run the VIN. The 1st 2 yrs of its life, it had been brought in for a laundry list of problems. The accident report said that it had been hit at the right rear door panel and left ' disabled '.
So in saying all that... I decided NOT to jump. Now that I've driven one, I know that my next SUV will definitely be a Countryman... but a ' S '... and I'll wait till the refresh the model.. then get one fresh off the boat.
