Quote: Roy - That looks great. I have wanted to do that since before I took delivery. Was it hard to get the headlight housings apart?

I always thought that those 8 little light ports should have been LEDs straight from the factory.
Hi Verc, it's not difficult to pop open the housing.. There have been post of the so called 'Joey Mod' around might be able to get more info of which I only found out years ago before I did on my first car which makes much easier.. Yup, I would think the factory should have it..

This is how it looks like during the day with just the LEDs in the 'Gatling gun' headlight look.. It's been half a year since I modded it.. Still good..

I really really want that. Don't suppose you have a DIY write-up for that, do you? Curious how you wired in the LEDs.

Hi, there isnt a wiring write up for this mod as I was doing a trial and error wiring to see if the car throws a error.. But its not difficult.. the 12v LEDs strips were tap to the position light. No resistor or step up/down module. the hard part is to find a way to stick or mount the LED strips onto the projector..

Hi, I believe u can just run it with just the LED DRL... you just have to tap the ignition wire or you could even run a switch from your cigarette 12v output if you worry about the warranty.. I had it tap to the position light cos it really look cool when you lock and unlock as it has the dimming effect.. if I want to run it just the LEDs, I just have to turn to position light.. where u can see it in the earlier picture..
