Aftermarket stripes

There are so many places out there selling them anywhere from $50 up to $400. I just got chili red mirror caps and brake ducts and I'm looking for a straight back double stripe of the same color. Lots of the sites say red, but I'm not sure if they're chili red or just some standard red.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Check out StripeMyMINI.com

I just bought stripes from them for my Countryman. The Countryman has "AC Style" bonnet stripes (the double stripes, one thick one thin on the sides of the bonnet), and I wanted to replace them with red ones instead of going with the Viper stripe look. Received them within two days of ordering and they look to be very good quality.

Interestingly, when I ordered them, I meant to ask for satin ones and ordered the gloss stripes by mistake. I e-mailed them and they replied that the gloss would be the red I was looking for and that the satin stripes would be more of a burgundy. He said he didn't think I'd be happy with that and recommended the gloss ones. When I expressed concern about gloss stripes scratching, he told me that they "are happy to warranty scratched stripes in the future", although he didn't say for how long.

If you are trying to match Mini chili red, I have found only one vinyl manufacturer that makes it in a cast pre laminated vehicle wrap material.
Oracal RA 970a. 371Red.
Looks great, easy to apply, long life with a good warranty.
There is some crap out there. Don't ruin your paint by saving a hundred bucks.

Go to your local vinyl people. They can do anything you want.
