You use sugru to connect the old iphone adapter to new cupholder? Interesting.

I got the plastic out of the rail and waiting for the sugru to arrive so i can connect the upright iphone holder to the flatbed one that comes with car. The brake is really a pain. Should have a foot brake so rail is free for stuff.

Not the drink holder. I had the flat rail mini phone holder and I ordered an upright from BMW. Bmw's didn't fit so I used
part of the BMW and used sugru to attach the two parts so now I have an upright phone holder that fits all the way against the shifter and doesn't impede shifter or ebrake use.

Sugru rocks and it can withstand -50c to +180c. I have a huge crush on sugru.

I still want a cup holder mod. But I need one for the back seat and for the front stationary ones

Here are some pics. I know mini probably has an upright one, but I had already ordered the BMW one, and it didn't fit how I wanted. And I HATE returning things. So I "frankensteined" it and I am happy.
