So I've hooked up my SIMLess iPhone to the mini for media streaming, tethering it to my Nokia when I need for connectivity.

I tried tonight to use the plugin to listen to a podcast, but had a heck of a time

1) starting from the top it works great; streams, podcast art, basic shuttle controls etc.
2) later I turned off the car only to find when I turned it back on it had restarted the podcast from the beginning

Is anyone aware of any controls such as bookmarking or 30 second skip or anything? I know I can fast forward with the joystiq, but its pretty slow, and getting back to the middle of a two hour podcast is really getting annoying.

I love this car, and connected offers some nice possibilities, but it feels like its not quite there.

 

Audio books work the same way. before you turn off the car, change to listen to some music from your ipod. Your place in the podcast should be saved.
