206 km/h is 127 MPH. Not bad!
Most people on this forum are from the US, so no one will have an SD and few will have the ability to open it up and get to top speed. 127MPH on a public highway will land you in jail with a drunk Bubbah and no license.
I tend to have a heavy foot and my CM frequently flirts with triple digits on empty spots of the highway, but I have not maxed it out.

Well I know that most of you are from the US, that's the reason I wondering the top speed of your Countryman S.

driving in the states can get boring, nice open roads but with very low speed limits and where i live i saw a undercover 350z with nismo package pull a mustang over out of no where.

I've only had mine for a few weeks. It was my son who was the first to take it above 100 on a recent road trip. Apparentally he inherited a lead foot from his dad!

I wonder if the cops argue over who gets to take out the Z to bust speeders!

Despite the slower acceleration, I'd still take a SD over a gas S because of the torque. Also, right now the price of premium unleaded here is higher than diesel.

The SD also gets double the mileage

The torque of the SD it's just perfect. No complain at all.

i claim the fifth ammendment protection of the us constitution regarding the top speed of my cms all4

or paraphrasing olie north,
"senator, i have no memory of the top speed of my cms all4"

but i will say that the !@#$%^& top speed limiter has to go!

i think the ecu tunes take care of that?

Top Speed

I live in Germany and my wife has a CM S ALL4. While test driving an ALL4 before we bought my wife’s we had it up to 130MPH. (Both are US Spec)

I have also had the great opportunity to drive an SD. I will take the SD any day. There is little difference in the acceleration and the torque is crazy. The guy that drives it daily said that his only has the 1.8 BMW engine but the 2012's and newer come with the 2.0. He also said that BMW has a bolt on kit for that 2.0 diesel engine that puts it to over 300HP and 500 Ft lbs of torque. That would make a sick CM!!!

The ratings for MPG on the CM SD, from what I have been told by our MA, when MPG is shown are in Imperial MPG. So that makes it a little less in the US MPG rating.

haha Kowalski has been up there... I won't say my exact speed but lets just say the speedo was approaching 135+ .... and yes that was on a back road, made sure there were no cops first!

Of course I couldn't have achieved that without the modifications I've done, but the car actually was still slightly pulling at that speed.

Kyle
