Thanks but i actually have a friend that is going to take his off his R56 and then we are going to test fit it. According to SA at the dealership, it will work.

Hi !

Someone found the solution to install the fuel filler cap ? I also saw the video and the size is the same between R56 and R60 but has anyone succeeded ?

I am half way there. The cap from R56 was in stalled. But i dont have time to work on the carbon fiber cover yet.

The outline needs to be custom made.

We will be able to keep the lining and only needs to replace the fuel door. However the lining needs to be cut to make room for the bigger hinge.

I'm working on a prototype now, you have to cut the liner to fit the hinge but you also have to reseal the cut so you don't get fumes in the car. So far I've got the liner, cap installed and the putter piece of the trim, it will need to be custom fabricated to look as on the R56. Just now color matching the gas cap before final install.

The member Rywan did it and he sent me pictures and it turned out awesome. I was the one who started this thread and to this day, still haven't done it yet. LOL! Some other things have got put in the way. Oh well that's life. LOL!!
