I tried to reply. I supposed it is mostly observation but there is at least one question buried in there.
As far as I know the armrest I have is the original. The top part covers a shallow storage bin and slides back and forth a bit as well as opening.The question: Is there any way to access the space in the armrest itself.
Yes, I still listen to CDs. I find them easier to manipulate while driving although I stream as well.
