My wife and I are both 40. she's driving the '13
MCS Cabrio and I'll be trading in my '05 MCS for the CMS as soon as it arrives. It will be our 3rd.

 

42 first mini! Daily driver of 150 miles! Had it 8 months has 26,000 miles on her...

 

44. First mini, well, will be when it arrives in June. Replacing my 98 Audi A4 I purchased new. Will be parked next to my Harley Davidson Road King Classic.

My wife looked at the mini, but went with a Jetta TDI. I decided I really liked the mini. What I really want is a Clubman with a bit more ground clearance to reach some trail heads I like to run at. I love those barn doors. But the Countryman will do just fine for me. Looks a by more muscular.

Now to just wait for it to arrive.

Interesting. It didn't occur to me that the special editions were different by country. See that is a Canada config.

Wow. Going through the Canada configurator, there are a lot fewer options than those of us in the US. For example, no S for the Countryman or Paceman unless you get the ALL4 system, and the sunroof is only available as a $1,990 premium package with 6-7 other options.

My next one is gonna be an S for sure. Didn't know what to expect when I bought it. Still love it though!

 

Curious. What is it that made you move from a 2011 to the 2013?

 

47 male, first Mini, traded in G35x, wanted something that handled like a top and yet could fit a bit of band gear

 

First and foremost...lease on the 11 ended. Secondly, I really wanted a manual, along with all the goodies that were important to me. The '11 was picked out from the lot...the '13 was searched everywhere for. I only had to compromise on the color, white...which I wasn't sure of before, but now love.

 

50 years old. Bought first Mini at 45.

 

37, the '12 R60 is my second. First was '06 R53 modded boot to bonnet...had to sell it when I lost my job. Worst day ever!!

 

Love it, It is so much fun!!
