R60 Ages of R60 owners?

35yo female..first MINI..haven't taken delivery yet but it's about to pass thru the Panama Canal on its way to CA..hopefully just another couple weeks!! Previous cars 2004 Chevy Duramax to a 2008 Jeep Patriot..slowly getting smaller

Mini was in the running because I wanted a manual trans, there aren't many to choose from these days. I initially wanted an R56 (possibly a 2015), but couldn't pass up a deal on the 2011 like-new R60 I bought three weeks ago. Also, my wife wasn't thrilled with Minis in general, and the R60 was bigger (and better) in her eyes, but now she begs to drive my car.

Had a boss 302 mustang which i loved but i needed something where i could go camping and go to the snow, maybe some light duty offroading. Countryman fit the description( offroad awesomeness, manual, suv, racing heritage, smile factor) will keep for a while or until mini gives us a diesel all4 in the states.

have owned every type of car\truck, anywhere from a 1991 bmw e30 318is (boy do i miss her) to a PI Crown Vic, to an awesome offroader Mitsubishi montero XLS limited... gave up on my last car, a 2014 kia optima since i REALLY missed having either RWD or AWD for our winters. Now driving a 2011 CMS all4 and love it, minus the lack of space (2 kids).

30 Female, Just picked up my first Countryman S ALL 4, Light white. LOVE IT!

This is my first MINI and I don't actually have it just yet.... it's on order. I usually buy old Nissans or Mazdas, for cash, and drive them until something explodes. I've never bought a nice car or a new car until now, so I'm pretty excited.
