I will say the funniest part about owning this car is that I have people come up to me all the time and ask about it. I think this probably happens 2 times a week at least. Just a couple of days ago my husband and I were coming out of the grocery store and he said to me "Someone is stalking your car again while ." A lady was on the phone talking to her daughter describing the car as she was looking in the windows and such. We came out and she kept asking tons of questions and telling us how much she loved it.

Same here! I always knew I had wanted a Mini but the first time I saw the Countryman, I knew I HAD to have it! I'm excited and so is my husband!

And I've been that person checking out someone else's Countryman in the parking lot! I saw a woman coming out of the store and when she headed my direction I knew it had to be her. She even showed me the inside!

I can't wait to drive my own!

47 male - first Mini...

My CM hits the spot - 7000 miles in 6 months...awesome to drive (watch that speedometer ), totally fun inside, great traction in snow/rain, terrific in the city and the country, surprising cargo space, over the top sound system, pretty decent mileage (avg. 29), fits 4 adults comfortably, has been a pleasure.

Enjoy!

60 year old 2-MINI owner. I love our R53 JCW and our new R60 CMS. However, I really LOVE our BMW R1200RT!!!

Any other BMW bike owners out there?

Just turned 45 and this is my first Mini and I cannot wait until it gets here. So tired of the big SUV that I will be getting rid of...my wife will still have the other one!

oh, man. I don't want to admit that I'm not the 23 year old that bought her first R53...32 now and opting for the R60 for practical. *sniff* Still a girl though! And the next addition will be a dedicated track car.

CMS/manual trans is my second MINI.
1st was an '06 JCW
The Super Charger setup -IMHO- was better than current Turbo

First MINI, opted for the Countryman because it is a little larger in the back seat area than the other MINIs and I didn't like the Clubman.

Male - 34

My 1st Mini, Wife is on her 3rd with a 2011 MCS.

Went with the Countryman S to save some gas and keep miles low on my FJ and still have a fun offroad truck.

Thanks, MrsZug. It took a while for the tunnel spokes to grow on me, but now I'm really glad I got them. They really amp up the look of the car, and they do a great job hiding brake dust.

I ordered tunnel spokes on my Surf Blue since they are the easiest to keep clean with all the brake dust that MINIs are famous for. I know a lot of people don't like them, but I think they are unique!

First MINI but always loved them- just not practical with the Northern Michigan winters. I can say I have always driven 4x4's and this car is way better in the snow and back roads than anything I have driven. My only complaint is ground clearance and so I am lifting it

39 Female...First mini - went from Ford Expedition to CM. Way better gas mileage, more fun to drive, still great in the snow and can honestly say I don't really miss the extra space.

LOL.... my first MINI too. Drove a Toyota Tacoma 4WD for 14 years. Gas mileage was horrible and was looking for something that made more sense. I love my MINI and it fits my needs and me perfectly. I do miss my truck but I have more fun driving my MINI and it does so well in the snow. Plus it looks hot and there aren't too many of us out there. All the SUV's look the same but you can tell a MIN a mile away.

My first MINI. It is due any day now!

Previously drove/drive WDP '05 Acura TL, prior to that I loved my Arctic White '91 Mercedes Benz 300E. I drove her 17 years. We kept it a few more years after that. Wonderful car.
