I had one of the first FJ Cruisers. Looked cool but the rear seat access was horrible and even when folks could crawl back there, the visibility was awful. It was kinda cool having two retro rigs though! (we had an '04 MCS at the time). Enjoy your Countryman!

Trading a PT

My wife is trading her PT Convertible for a Countryman and that will make us a two MINI family as well

Congratulations. I'm sure you'll enjoy the gas mileage bump.

Make sure you post your Pure Red pictures in the Pure Red thread or else Sealy is coming after you

PRs will do that to you. First thought - "What was MINI thinking?", Second thought - "Oh, now I get it."

Sealy - Who seems to have acquired a reputation.

yea we traded in our 2006 Audi A6 for the countryman so we are now a two MINI family as well now.

funny thoug as when the Audi dealer found out i bought the countryman instead of buying another A6 they took it as an insult and then basically insulted me and said i couldent afford a new A6, i swear because of that we will never buy from them again~

we love the mini though, its a bit different than that of an A6 most the options are their minus the power seats but we love the car and the look and the drive!

Sold my 3 year old MB S550 and got the new countryman few weeks ago. Although I still miss the S, but definitely not complaining at the gas pump.

Just traded in my 2007 FJ for the same thing... no regrets and already enjoying not spending $60-70 at the pump.

The FJ was just listed as one of the worst selling cars of 2011 with only 1600 ish units sold.

I came out of an FJ too. Great truck, had lots of off roading fun but glad to be back in another MINI.

I still have my FJ and although we were planning on getting rid of it after we bought the CM, I think we're going to keep it. Thing has been bullet-proof and will never look "old" bc of the retro styling. Sucks gas like crazy, but that's what we have the CM now for
