Didn't get any goody bag yet (been only 1 week since taking the CM)...but my MA did throw in rubber floor mats for front, rear and boot....and a Mini hat.

 

We made a small mistake when buying ours. As we were doing the paperwork I noticed a set of rubber mats on the floor next to the sales guy.

At first I thought they were just some extra stuff laying around. Anyway, after the purchase my wife asked about a MINI baseball cap for herself. she wanted to buy it, but he offered it for free. Great.

I also thought I might buy a MINI coffee travel mug and asked how much it was, thinking I'd probably pass, but figured it didn't hurt to ask. Well, he gifted it to me - great.

But it was then that I realized that the rubber mats were almost certainly for us, but our sales guy figured a cap and mug are a cheaper giveaway and called it a day.

 

Lucky you on the mats.. I had to buy mine. I have a white with black roof and black wheels - no stripes - so if you see it don't be shy. Just had the windows tinted this past weekend.

 

Mats are standard in 2012 with the price increase. Hopefully folks are aware that they've paid for them and shouldn't be charged to get them.

 

Rubber mats or the fabric mats? My 2011 came with the fabric mats with the white reflective piping without an additional charge.

 

I got a set of the all weather (rubber) mats (front and rear) in addition to a set of the standard fabric mats.

 

the sales person gave it to me the day I pick up the car. cup, 2 hats, a plush dog, and I think that was it.

 

I could be wrong, but I don't think that was the goodie bag.

The Goodie Bag comes in the mail and doesn't come with such nice items as a plush toy and hats and mugs.

I think that was just some extras that many dealers like to toss in. Mine tossed in a mug and a hat.

Not too great since I believe he was about to give us a set of rubber mats. Oh well, live and learn I guess.

 

We got our bag of goodies a month after delivery of our ALL4, the bag everything comes in turns inside out and fits on the lumbar adjuster ***** to make a great litter bag with plastic liner.

 

I finally got mine. We bought our Countryman 3 months ago and it just came. I thought it was for my husbands hardtop that we bought 2 weeks ago, but it says Countryman at the bottom. YAY!!! Wonder if we will get one for his.

 

Maybe Santa will bring my goodie bag, on his way through Indiana.

 

I had gotten mine about 1 1/2 months after buying the car. . . someone stole my antenna 8 ball. :-(

Got my goodie bag yesterday! Nice knicknacks. 2 months from delivery for me.

 

I picked up my countryman s yesterday and I just saw an envelope in the car that came with a small booklet and a USB drive, don't know if that's standard.
My S did not have the stripes but they are putting the stripes that are on the all4 model.

I can't stress enough on how fun and easy the car is to drive, I went from a Honda crv to this. I let 2 people drive mine and now they are buying a mini. I would have bought the cooper but I needed the ride height since its easier for me to get out of the car. Will be modding the car soon.

Mine came with these as well.

The dealer did give me the rubber boot liner. Pretty nice.

 

I only got my MINI about 89 days ago so I haven't gotten the welcome kit yet, but I got a cool bag of swag from my MA when I picked up the car. It had a very cool MINI hat, aluminum water bottle, stuffed bulldog with a mini shirt on, and two wings logo key chains. I asked for the hat and got all the other stuff too! Be sure to ask for something when you pick up your car, you'll probably get it! A buddy of mine negotiated a $50 long sleeve T-shirt into his deal and got it! LOL

 

The 2012's come with the fabric mats as standard, but rubber mats are an extra. My MA let me choose between the rubber floor mats and the rubber boot liner and I opted for the rubber mats.

The 2011's didn't come with any mats as standard at all (although they should have!), even the fabric mats were an extra. So I doubt that MINI would throw in both fabric and rubber mats as standard just a year later with only a small increase in price. So looks like you got some extra value in your deal!


chaswyck - that is a lot of swag! I didn't get the aluminum bottle or the hat. I guess I should have been asking for a few more things. Although I was really pleasantly surprised by the keychains, those are nice!

 

I got my MINI swag a couple of weeks ago--it was about a month after we took delivery.

Absolutely LOVED the packaging!

 

Wow, it's been almost 3 months for me and nothing :(

 

Got a fun package from MINI today. Adopted Oliver on 11/7/11 so it took a couple months. I thought it was my license plate holders so was surprised with my bag of goodies.

 

Took delivery Nov. 11th and got my goodie bag just shy of two months later.

 

6 weeks for mine .....

 

8 weeks & nothing.
