Green ...the answer is Synergy Green

[QUOTE=tatacountry;3425331]
I'm curious about what stripes you're getting? I can't decide what to do! I got the pure red interior and seats, so I'm considering red stripes but I can't decide if car looks better with or without !
QUOTE]

You can't go wrong with Red and that was one of our initial thoughts, but we opted for Green. My wife really digs Synergy Green (a special color GM has use on some recent Camaro's), so I ordered custom stripes in that color. Instead of printed vinyl, these stripes have actual paint over vinyl from a company named FLXPaint. You can see in the closeup below that the metallic really pops. We opted to install the 16 individual sections ourselves, which proved a bit challenging in places, and I think they came out perfect.

Have Fun,
Mark

How do you like the DS3? Trying to talk my Dad into getting one to replace Mom's 206.

ViperX35 - nice stripes and great tips! Was it difficult to install these rather than the ones that came with the aero kit?

The DS3 is my sisters... I like it a lot... a bit too french for my taste, and the extreme long doors make it difficult to get out of in a tight parking space. But its modern and good designed interior, and after a ECU remap it goes like a bat out of hell... Almost as fast as my MCS.

I actually can't tell, because i didn't do the install my self...
When I ordered my car it was ordered whit all the add ons, (AeroKit, ChiliRed Design kit, JCW tailpipes, etc) but since this model was new on the nowegian marked, the part was not available to order yet. So i got the car whiteout any extras in june and the dealer has fitted the parts as they become available.

Now that we got some colder whether and hopefully a lot of snow soon Im looking forward to test the All4.

They'll love it then. They live Bayeux in Normandie, which is where I'm from originally. They're looking at 207's but I like the idea of the DS3 better. I will be visiting them in Feb or March and hopefully I can influence the decision.

Your CM looks fantastic by the way.

I'd love to hear anyone's thoughts on what they think looks best !

thanks, Mark (yep another Mark)
Hey Mark - my apologies if this is a double, I've tried posting before but it didn't take.

We almost went with Red stripes, and probably would have if we had the Red interior, but in the end we opted for Synergy Green Metallic. I described the stripes we wanted and had them cut from FLXPaint (a slick product using real paint over vinyl), and then installed them ourselves. Getting 16 individual sections to line up right on a curvy surface was fussy work, but my wife and I now have the satisfactiion of having done it ourself. ...and surviving.

Here are a couple of shots, which also show her winter shoes. I've got a few more in my gallery if you are interested.

Love the stripes, and the fact that you installed them yourself...impressive!
The green on the black is great combo.

Thanks. My wife loved the synergy green when she saw it on a new Camaro... in fact we are probably the only people to ever cross shop a Countryman with a Camaro

The checker stripes on yours tie in well with the side wraps - sharp!
