Thanks cursor718. We wanted the accent stripe to tie in the side scuttles and the rims. The gray they had was too light, but we thought that the pattern of the carbon gave it the subtle dark gray feel to tie it all in.

Hey JohnnyMCS...love the look. How much of the does that Black Jack decal hinder the view with the sunroof closed? I want one, but the kids love looking out the sun roof. Possibly got a picture through it from the inside? Thanks!

Ayces - Thanks! I actually intended to just put together some ideas to send to Cooperation who does these and got carried away and did it myself. Although he still deserves the credit as I used several of his designs and put them together. It's funny you mention the eye shades as that was the original reason I did this. I intend to get those exact eye shades and took those from Dittin's website to see if they I liked them on the mini and to have the sig match the car when I get the shades from Dittin.

Not a fancy picture but it works. I love my car. Husband is not allowed to drive it.

Recent Pics of Angus

4 months in and I still have that dumb grin on my face when I walk in my garage. Did my break-in oil change at 1600 miles recently. The mechanic said the oil didn't look too bad but was about a 1/2 quart low ... that had to have come that way from the factory so you might want to check ... I just assumed.

Your CM looks sweet. Did you paint or replace the brake calipers? Or did you order upgraded ones?

Thanks! They are caliper covers from MGP. You can get them on eBay ...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/MGP-Red-Alum...19cdea&vxp=mtr

Others have painted theirs with good results also. There are threads on NAM related to it. I wanted covers to try to cut down on brake dust, especially on the front wheels. It did make a difference.

Wow - very cool. I'll be getting the JCW Design kit on mine and I think those red calipers have a nice tie-in. Thanks!

Your car's stripes are beautiful! My car came with oil level about 1/2 between marks (but it is hard to read with new oil). It has stayed about the same through 1800 miles.

Took Rigs on his first beach trip over the past weekend. These were some of my favorites from our little HDR photography session

Great pics and name. Ours look identical in every respect except for the side stripes (wish I had those). I just brought my guy (Hujan) home yesterday. Black on white is, without a doubt, the best color combo. And the 18" anthracite turbofans are the best stock MINI wheel.

I've been waiting a while to join this club. On Friday I finally got my chance, so out with the 2008 Lightning Blue MCS and in with the 2012 Light White MCMS!
