well said Threar, i really like that the faster response can be felt at all speeds and not just from a stop..with the sport function on it feels like sport+

 

So with the SprintBooster, does the Sport button seem to do anything in regards to throttle response anymore? Or at that point is it only about adjusting the handling...

Wow, compared to the vehicle I came from, the throttle seems more-or-less instant - but maybe mostly due to now having a manual vs auto. What does the Sprintbooster do to your gas mileage?

 

I notice that with the Sport button on, you can still feel more of a kick from the throttle than with Sport button off. The throttle becomes twitchier with the Sport button and the SprintBooster set to max (which is something I like, but you have to get used to it).

 

I use fuelly to track my mileage here. Looking at the stats, I installed the sprintbooster on 8/3, the next fuel-up I got 21MPG (which was obviously me running around gunning the engine at every chance I got playing with new toys). After settling down a bit, it's ranging between 26MPG and 28MPG (depending on what my weekend entails).

 

New Countryman S owner. My biggest disappointment is the throttle lag, even n Sport mode - my kids even noticed it simply as passengers. Sounds like the SprintBooster is just the thing.

I don't see any reason why it would hit the stock airbox (I don't have the stocker in my car, so I can't easily measure).
