Hey Karrock
Totally unrelated question to the thread topic.....
I am ordering a CM with the same color scheme as yours Cosmic Blue and Black and I saw you have the bonnet stripes.
I was originally going to go with stripes but I was wondering if the Blue is just too dark for the stripes to show?
I looked at your gallery and its hard to tell from the pics...
Part of the problem is I haven't seen the color "in real life" it was about the only color CM my MINI dealer didn't have on the lot and of course the one I wanted
Thanks

I'll try to upload or link better photos for you...
Are you going for black or white stripes? Here is my baby.

You kids need to take your stripes and blue cars and get a room.
I've heard new chrome is out. Anyone have numbers or good news on getting theirs replaced?
Thanks!

We just bought our Oxford Green Countryman S. When taking delivery at the dealership I noticed the pealing chrome strips. Was frustrated as I felt the dealer should have inspected / informed us prior to the 80 mile trip (one way) to pick it up.
So another return trip is in order ;(
Dealer says fix is on order but no committed date.

Yeah, it's annoying but.. c'est la vie. Here's my girly DIY repair:
As soon as I discovered the corners/edges of my chrome tape were lifting... i gently pulled up the loose pieces up/out a little more and put a tiny drop of nail glue underneath, using a toothpick. i gently smoothed and re-sealed the tape, tucking it back into the trim line.
quick fix...
