Took Delivery on Friday AM drove 350 miles and proposed to my girlfriend by putting the ring in the glove box.
She was really surprised because she was already excited about my new car.
Put 900 miles on it this weekend between NJ, Pittsburgh and CT getting 26 MPG

I chose to pick it up on 2/10 because of work and to make a long weekend of it.
It was in monmouth within a day. I got an email from my MA that it was in the on the morning 02/04. I maybe could have pushed to have it earlier, but the time was a little buffer.
If it goes through vdc quick you could maybe get it by sat. or mon.

All of you who started production 2/2...Looks like we aren't making the boat this week. Talked to someone at Mini this morning and the cars are still being transported to the departure point...Looks like the middle of March or later for us. :(

This morning when I called the automated line, my status changed to "In transit" and that I should contact my MA for further info, previously it was saying something about in transit to point of exit. So I went ahead and talked to the live operator and she said that my CM was beyond the point of exit. Hopefully this means I made a boat, but my VIN is still not found on the WW site...could just mean I finally made it to the point of exit and am just waiting to be loaded...all so vague
