Longer antenna?

I'm getting ready for some multi-thousand mile drives around the US and I wonder if anyone knows of a compatible longer antenna so I can pull in those distant AM stations on those long drives through the desert?

The stock antenna works real well... although I've only tested it just to see how well it works.. I just keep the radio on Sirius all the time

I use alligator clamps and a long wire to run a loop from the stock antenna to my ear lobes and then I wear my tin foil hat. Works great for long distance - sometimes I even get messages from Uranus.
