Just a FYI for those of us that went with the Base model, just attended a DIY day at MINI of Dallas to do Bandit's oil change and low and behold, didn't have to remove the washer resevoir like in the "S"! The filter housing was right there up front, unscrew and change out! Score one for the Little Guys!

We havent gotten ours yet, but we went with the base model mailing because its for my wife, she wanted better gas mileage than her Subaru Tribeca, and the trade in was almost an even trade. We test drove a base model and it was AWESOME. It cant arrive fast enough!

I personally would have gone with the "S" but we didnt want to put too much money towards a new car and I have a Subaru STi for whenever I get an itch for some power.

Just ordered our CM Base. The S became a bit too pricey for us. Have always driven cars that were not exhilirating. Let's see Mustang Convertible with V6, Saturn ION with std 2.2L ecotec, etc. So why will I need it now? Had a thought about possibly adding cold air induction to increase air flow and power.
