Has any one put, or tried to put, the LED shift light bar (JCW option for another model) on the CR? Denver dealer says there may be a retro kit but was a little vague.

This might be a dumb question. But why use a shift light bar vs RPM guage. What's the advantages?

 

Not at all a dumb question but I do have a dumb answer: Because I might be the only CR that has one. Actually my thought was that I might be able to pick up the light in my periphery vision. I know that ultimately you shift by sound which takes me back to my 1st answer.
