R60 Placing Order tomorrow...last minute advice?
Aaaaaaannnnd it's done!
And I'm excited. Thanks again for all your thoughts...nice to bounce some ideas around. Didn't see the point in starting another post talking about what I ordered, so thought Id add it here:
Heading off to production for me is a white body/black roof (i know, i know, there will be a lot of these, but that's the color combo i saw about 1.5 years ago that got me really excited about this vehicle...i was brainwashed!), 17" Black Wheels, Cold Weather Package, Piano Black Trim w/ anthracite headliner, two part center rail, HK sound, Flat Load floor, Xenon lights, and Connected (sans Nav...just couldn't justify something id barely use). Very happy with the price and can't wait to make contact!!
Pics when she arrives, and let the neurotic waiting begin!

Did you choose leatherette, cloth/leather, or leather for your interior?
In the great north, I'd think that the cloth/leather combo would be a good choice - the cloth center would never get that cold. The leatherette is very durable, but not sure how it would be in the very cold. (As some have said - the heated seats get HOT very quickly!) And I simply hate the $$$$ of the leather, but that's me.
Did you opt for the all-weather tires vs. the performance, or are you planning on doing dedicated winter vs. rest-of-the-year tires? (How ever short "rest-of-the-year" may be?!?!?!)
Let the waiting begin! It will be worth it!

MaybeMCSC- after much internal debate, I went with the leatherette. My buddy doing recon for me thought the cloth felt very thin (a report I had heard from a few others). Not being able to experience myself I have to go with the info I was given. Thought about the true leather, but was hard pressed to pay extra $$$. Im sure the leatherette will be better than the other vehicle I drive most days in the winter (a Ural Motorcycle)...and much warmer on the keister (thanks heated seats!). It's hard to go wrong, i think.
JudgeS- thanks! I'm excited!

I was surprised at the leatherette when I checked it out in the dealership. It's actually pretty nice. The sales guy claimed it actually held up better than leather, which I don't know for sure, that's just what he said. I still love the look of the Polar Beige, but yeah, the extra $1500 is lame.
MCSC- forgot to mention this as well...opted for the all seasons and will get a real winter tire/wheel set later this summer. Read in some locations that the performance tires don't come into their own until it's over 60 degrees...that gives me like 10 days of performance (haha...not quite that bad).
ALL4s, manual, True Blue, White roof and mirror caps, lounge Leather. Cold Weather, Premium, Pkgs. The all season run flats are LOUD! Anybody replaced them with??
Leather vs leatherette is a matter of taste. Calamari is still squid, and I still enjoy it it. Leatherette is still vinyl, and there is nothing wrong with making seat covers out of it. I like it better than the fabric.
