There are dealer sponsors on here offering 20-30% off accessories, so hold off on your rack and get it cheaper! Check out the vendor section No tax and LOW shipping.

Congrats on such a great Countryman discount!

What State do you live in? There are only two Mini dealerships in my state, both owned by the same company so they have no reason to deal at all. Only one in Oregon....not dealing at all.I am having to go to Northern California (closest to me) to get any type of deal. I plan on incorporating the Mini purchase into my vacation of Napa Valley and to haul some wine back. LOL! So far Ive been quoted $1500 off MSRP....works for me!
You may have to travel out of state to get a deal....

I am in Arizona and only two in state and owned by same place. I have already placed my order, but would be nice if they would at least throw in some floor mats and window tint when I pick up. Will find out in a few months.

I got the same discount. But any dealer fees?

I worked with 4 dealers in my area, letting them know I'd be shopping around and simply asking for their best price. All 4 dealers I spoke with made initial offers that were discounted off MSRP. From there I just went back to the 3 with the highest price and told them what they needed to do to get in the game. I saved the dealer who had the best initial price for last...gave him the chance to win the deal and he did.

That being said, much depends on where you live and the amount of competition in your area. I live in northern NJ and have 4 dealers within 30-40 minute drive from me and several more not too far beyond that, so lots of competition and dealers are discounting. In contrast, Seattle has just 2 dealers and both are apparently owned by the same group, so no real competition and, from what folks have posted here, no discounts.

Yes $602 but the other dealer in town was offering only $1413 off MSRP and dealer fees would have been $901.

Congrats on such a great Countryman discount!
I haven't found any real good deals for roof rack online. Best was $221 plus $12 shipping on Amazon Marketplace. Dealer wants $251-10%+8% tax. So online is about $10 cheaper.

Mine is $389.00 and it seems like a good deal. South Atlanta also offers me $1400 off. I didn't know their dealer fees would have been $901

South ATL is $599 dealer fee plus $3 GA Lemon Law plus $299 to a private company for paperwork since I need it registered out of state.

Global is $599 dealer fee plus $3 GA Lemon Law but not $299 for out of state paperwork. They are letting me do my own out of state paperwork.

As far as MSRP Global is $1750 off and South ATL was $1413 off.

Both said they have production slots too. I ordered friday at Global and it started production monday.

Wow that is really lucky. You must have just gotten in under the deadline for one of their existing slots. Nice!

Im in AZ and we only have 2 dealers... we got 1650 off MSRP w 489 or 499 Dealer doc fees... just gotta catch em at the right time. I went in there for parts for my 03, and it was 7pm, last day of the month and they had 99 cars sold that month... so the added dealer motivation (usually outside our control) was there. The real discount was Costco which they were able to offer on the Countryman, invoice + 1250, which wound up to be 1650 off.

Are dealers MORE motivated at the end of the Quarter vs. the end of a Month? Or is it about the same sort of factors involved?

I got mine at the end of the month and off the lot. Ended up with $3k of MSRP. 11 MCS EG MINI Connected +NAV, MSRP $26500, paid $23500 inc destination fee +tax, tags, and dealer fee. Also got 0.9% APR. I walked the first day so I think that helped a lot.

Congrats!
I am planning to buy a MIni Country this month. Not sure who to go to. Test drove in South Bay. Visited Alexander. Can I still expect to get a deal if I am ordering?

Nice deal, but we are talking specifically about Countryman in this thread, upon which the 0.9% APR offer does not apply. I think it also helped that you bought off the lot rather than custom order.

PenFed is national. I saw an advertisement in last weeks New York Times and acted on it. Go to their website. If you're not one of the people categories at the top, go to the last option and pay $15 to become a member. It's well worth it in the end for 2.49%, unless you can find a better rate.

If you have a military family member (any family military member-not just living with you) Navy Federal CU has 1.99%.
