Videos on Visual boost

Look what i've found

To watch movies on Visual boost or Navigation System from your iPod you'll need the Y-cable video-audio part number: 61122179623
With this cable u can also see the artwork next the title of the song u're listening

Soooooo glad i've ordered the visual boost

Did the cable come with the car or did you get it separately?

I wonder if this will work in the USA? I believe that it's illegal in California to watch video (or have video displayed within the driver's field of vision)...

looks like it would be totally fun, though!

of course, is this what "iPod out" is supposed to do?

So I don't remember anything about "Visual Boost" when I was ordering. Is that something different that MINI Connected?

I pretty sure that "visual boost" adds the NAV display, but doesn't include Connected of NAV, just a menu system and possibly visual interface to iPod.

I'm pretty sure this was what was in the all the Countryman(s) we saw at MINI Takes The States 2010.

and I don't think it's an available option in the USA. (but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)

That's right!
If take mini connected it will add the nav monitor without the navigation system... OR.... you can order just the monitor (this time without nav sys AND connected) if u have just the monitor u'll be able to install Connected in a second moment... I think it's just a software update! who knows
