Wow. Cars are available for general sale already? I though Jan 8 was the date.

 

I'm pretty suprised myself! I just drove in and saw them unloading three great looking Countryman! I'm glad they gave us one of each!

Has MINI USA said these can be sold off the lot???? These are supposed to be demos so that potential customers have a chance to see what they are like. You can't be selling them already?

 

My dealer said that they can sell cars that come in so long as they keep one on the lot for demo purposes; the one they have is thus not for sale, but they expect to get more cars later in the week which they will be able to sell.

 

Are the VIN numbers any indication of the sequence they were made in?

 

To the best of my knowledge, VINs are indeed assigned sequentially. I believe that the last 7 digits represent the sequential part of the VIN.

 

Well Will can you lets us know what those are , just out of curiosity?
