I have owned my Mini for one week (bought it 3-17-2007). The car is great and I have enjoyed this site quite a bit. The thread on things you don't know about your Mini was VERY helpful. One of the things I found out in the first seven or eight page (still reading) is that I am obligated to name my Mini. My wife assumed it should be a girl but I don't think so. He is a metallic black 06 with a stripe up the bonnet. It took me about five days but his name finally came to me.... wait for it... Max. His name is Max.

I bought Max last Saturday. In that time I have put almost 1,000 miles on him! The shot of the inside is to show off his new center arm rest and floor mats. I picked them up Yesterday.

Thanks to all the nice folks that have welcomed me here. I have found a wealth of information but more impressively I have not run across any Perpetually disagreeable people. I have a feeling I may have made a life style choice with my Mini Cooper so I should be here for a long time.
