Searching for that Mini!
Searching for that Mini!
No, I'm not going to replace the TTQC!
But I am looking for a car that leaves me feeling connected, like the TT, but maybe my grandkids can ride in.
Looked at a 2004 today: 42K miles, lots of the trim was fading or (in the case of the chrome wing on the SW) delaminating. Argh! The other is a creme-colr. A third was at the dealer, 2006, but an automatic. I prefer to stir, not shake.
Opinions on a 2004 w/ this many miles? It had gone to Union City GA for warranty work. The local dealer is not a 'dealer' for Mini, but can (he claims) service them. Sent it off I suppose to do a CPO-like inspection. Here's the car:
Aftermarket intake pipe and wheels, car IS an "S". Not as torquey as the TT, but a nice turner and burner. Just started the search, and this was day 1.
