Mini Newb Checking In.

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I'm about to pickup an '06 Cooper S JCW Checkmate this Sunday. Have been lurking for about a month and am excited to be a part of the mini phenomenon. I sold my '03 BMW M3 last January and have always been intrigued by the mini cooper.

Wow is all I can say. Picked her up today in Santa Cruz, and no better way to get acquainted with her but on highway 17 on my way home, in the rain! I'm very impressed with the mini, this coming from a former e46 M3 owner.
