I was hoping to buy a '08 MCS. However, my 13 year old Accord, that I was hoping would last another year, had some issues that cost way too much to repair on Thursday Jan 4th. So I bought a 2006 Hyper Blue/Silver Roof & Bonnet striped 6 speed MCS with the premium package, H/K stereo, fog lights, and 17" S-Lite rims on Friday Jan 5th. I'm loving it, and will buy a 2010 MCS when this one is paid off. I'm away from home (I had to leave on the 6th) on business for the next few weeks, so my wife is having all of the fun. I'll have to perform some catch-up motoring when I get back. Wish me luck...Z

Dude, congrats. You might know that the MINI can get pretty good miles-per-gallon. But, do you and your wife know that the MINI (both S and non-S) get more "smiles-per-mile" than any other vehicle on the road?

Love the color combo! I really wanted to have an '06, but I couldn't locate one with the options I wanted. Was a little too late to order one when I decided on an '06. So I bought a used '04 instead...

The 2010 MCS will be in addtion to the '06. The '06 will become my "Tinker" toy. BTW it'l be Chilli Red with Black roof/Bonnet Stripes & mirrors. I haven't decided on the rest.

That is my favorite color combination (HB/S). That's what I wanted but it wasn't offered on the R56, so I had to settle for LB/W.
