Hi Everyone

Hi everyone,

I just bought a dark/royal blue '04 Mini Cooper S. I've been waiting years for this car and absolutely LOVE it! I was just wondering if anyone could give me an idea if I got a decent deal or not. It has a sunroof. I paid 16,500 before fees. It seemed about right compaired to some others I had seen and is in excelent condition. Let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Rachel

P.S. If you have any good ideas for some customization let me know I can't wait to make this car "mine"

Also, I was wondering if anyone knows where to get an owners manual. It didn't have one with it when I bought it and am looking to get a replacement. The cheapest I saw was for $45 on ebay. Any suggestions?

Welcome to NAM. To expedite answers in future posts it may be worth your while to fill in your location in your User CP.
I'm guessing you are in Canada based on that price?

Welcome to NAM, Imnuts55!! If you compared around then I'm sure you did fine. Glad you're lovin' your car...I've had mine 4 years and it's like I got it yesterday!!! When you have time (like...when you're not out motoring) post some pics in your gallery so we can throw some you-ification ideas your way.

Welcome to NAM.

There are hundreds of ways you can customize your car, or "You-ify" your car, as MINI USA puts it.

Most of us here on NAM have done some things to make our cars our own, with performance modifications, suspension mods, new vinyl stripes, new paint, or even just some aftermarket wheels and tires. The possibilities are nearly endless, provided you like to tinker, and have some money to do so.

If you have any specific things to do to your car, then you could always learn more by using the SEARCH function here on NAM, to find out more about any given topic. We recommend using search before starting new threads, because chances are very high that the item you're looking for has already been discussed in one form or another, sometimes at great length!

As far as the price of your car, my opinion is, "what does it matter?", since you've already pulled the trigger and purchased it. Just focus on your wonderful new car, and have fun with it!
