Once upon a time not to long ago I walked into the BMW Dealership to have a car serviced. While I was waiting around I happened to stroll into the Mini dealership and at first glance fell in love with what I saw on the showroom floor. A 2006 Mini Cooper S JCW w/ GP Kit #1426.

I had been on the fence about purchasing a new car, because I couldn't find that one car that was just right for just the right price. I had narrowed it down to a Prius or a Corvette. Both on the opposite extremes of the automotive scale. Now Prius was just a bit too slow and quite common here in Southern California, and the Corvette was just slightly out of my price range. In the darkness of indecision, there came a MINI GP sliver of light.

I went home thought about it for 1 week, and went back to the dealership and purchased the GP that night. (last friday 12/22/2006) Merry Christmas to myself.

So here I am.

Great story. It must have been a wonderful moment when you first saw that car. You are a wise person to wait a week, and even wiser to go back and buy it.

The BMW that I took in for servicing actually belongs to my mother, and for some reason she can't seem to take it in herself.

The car that I am selling right now is my 05 Subaru WRX Wagon.

I just have to say that the GP is amazingly fun. I have yet to take her over 4500rpms but even in the lower RPMS very fun. Can't really put any other words.

Anyway thanks again everyone and I promise to post pictures and I hope to learn a thing or 2 from the wiser mini owners out here.
