What a rush!!!! Love my baby!!

I've been wanting a MINI for 4 years and new exactly what I wanted, a little orange and navy. (orange a nostalgia thing for my first car - an orange VW which I absolutely adored). Then I heard the orange was going out in March.

Rush job!! Called Nashville and they had one come in that day. My orange and navy MCSC with the sunrise seats, orange dash. I got her within 5 days with 12 miles on her. Now she's got 400. I've had her a week today. I can't take the main roads. I have to drive the back squiggly roads all of the time. I can't ever see driving anything else. She is so much fun.

Like Mater says in my Grandson's movie "I'm having more fun than a tornado in a trailer park!" I may be a crazy "Gammah" but I want to join an amatuer racing group around here, maybe add the works to her eventually. (by the way I am a young grandma) Even the little guy grabs his jacket and wants to ride. (he's just turned 2) When you ask where he wants to go he just shrugs his little shoulders and says "ride carseat". Buckle up!

Welcome, jo ! (if I may)

Nice first post... very ENTHUSIASTic.

Can't wait to see your pics. If I could add a third MINI, it would be a Hot Orange Cabrio !

BTW, I'm a young grandpa, so I can relate (have a grandson who just turned 2 last month).

Welcome to NAM and the world of grandparenting! Both are exciting and rewarding. Just sorry you didn't have the "joy" of waiting for six weeks with baited breath, following every step of the production and transportation process like many of us did. We just got our baby last Friday and we're at nearly 900 miles. Oh, and did I mention more than 900 "smiles"!!

I hope I'm replying right. I'm already on the Navy bonnet stripes, need I say great minds? How do I find locals to apply them? I checked CooperFlags and their nearest are 2 states away! There has to be someone closer.

Congrats on the orange mini. I'm a new grandmother and my 11 month old grandson loves his drives in Grandma's LY MC. He can see out of the windows better than an SUV. I tend to drive the curvy roads because they're so much fun now.
