Nine months of ownership and not a single negative comment. Lots of positive comments and quite a few co-workers wanting to drive it (not allowed, but I gladly take them for a ride.)

Chick's car? I've heard of comments, on NAM, about owners getting this comment but never had anyone say it to me. As others have already stated, who cares what others think. The car is a blast to drive and that's all that matters to me.

Well 2 questions then…I’m not sure I like the name NAM, bad connotations.

Anyway cheers
Aloha and welcome to Northamericanmotoring.com
NAM isn't vietnam.
We would have liked to have remained MCO for MINICooperOnline.com but there were changes that needed to be done some time ago.

Nobody hassles me about my MINI. Never.

And only a few can keep up.

Fast, I don't think you'll get much response to your last comment.

IBTL is "In Before The Lock" and it's a fun little thing that we do when the discussion looks like it MIGHT stray to one of the forbidden topics on NAM (like street racing, which of course you are not talking about and would never do). I'm sure that you can find a definition about tea-bagging somewhere on the interweb...

And of course MINIs are fast enough to race (as are Minis), but those of us with racing experience would only use them on the track or in a specially prepared course, and then only for the greater good of mankind.

Life is FAR TOO SHORT to worry about what others think.
I agree stop worring what others are thinkning, Think for yourself, make yourself happy and it won't matter what they say.. and welcome to NAM always room for one more.
