I knew I didn't have a sparetire when I bought my car(2 weeks ago) but am I supposed to have a jack? It doesn't have the runflats but if I'm going a long distance I plan on putting a spacesaver in the boot. I guess if I can't find one(jack)I don't have one. All I have is a small bag of tools(not sure what all of them are for). Thanx for any replies.

 

Yes your MCS should have a jack and lug wrench in a bad in the boot. If you got yours used and its not there, the previous owner must have kept it or lost it. Maybe you can check with your dealer to see how much a replacement of the little bag that has the jack and wrench in it.

The jack should have been in the bag in the back.

 

That small bag should contain the jack and a lug wrench. Of course, as you mentioned, the car doesn't have Runflats, so the jack isn't much use unless you have a spare handy. I recommend that you switch back to Runflats for the S. I know a lot of MINI owners don't like them for various reasons, but it's certainly reassuring and RFT's are fine tires for most general usage.
