I looked at the thread for Production Week 45 support group, and it seems to be for LAST year's production week 45. Do we need a new thread for this year?

 

Twinkle Toes. Not sure if I'm in week 44 or 45. My build week sometime the week of 10/30-11/3. Looks like a thread is required for week 45 though.

Isn't the waiting just the worst?!?! It's like being a kid waiting for Christmas morning! :impatient Anyway, I've been through this once before so if you have any questions or such ask away! My new baby is going to be British Racing Green with Black roof and mirrors. Other goodies include: LSD, Chrono Pack, Front & Rear Fog Lights, 6-speed, Black seats, Anthracite, Cold Weather Package, Black Racing Stripes. I think that's about it. What are the details on yours? Is this your first Mini?

 

Royal JCW, is your new ride a replacement or in addition to? I just ordered last week. Was planning on picking up a used one but when my dealer told me he could still get me a new 2006 I said go for it!

 

I'm new to Mini. I have always wanted one, but in my area the wait has always been long until now. The new R56 has has eased up allocation on the 2006 model. I currently have a ALMS Audi TT. I love how you can track your order. The wait is driving me crazy!

 

You are going to love it. We've already put almost 8K miles on our Convertible since mid-May. Our local Cooper club is really active and we do a lot of great drives and events. It's amazing how much people love their Coopers!

 

Where is Lake Stevens? I'm in the Portland area.

 

Lake Stevens is about 30 miles north of Seattle and 5 miles east of Everett. We were down to Portland this summer for the All British Field Meet. That was fun. I entered are car in the slalom which was a blast. We also took 1st place in in the Mini Convertible category for Peoples Choice Award. Pretty fun weekend!

 

Any word anyone? Anybody in production yet!?!?!? A quiet bunch you are!

Hello week 45ers!

Mine is finally "scheduled for production".

Waiting is so NOT exciting. I'm making a Christmas list for my ride while I'm waiting. I think my new car would like some eyes and an antenna topper for Christmas.

Anybody else getting presents for their Mini?

 

Add one more to this list, which will probably be a rather short (but fortunate!) list of folks. Just got my order in. I was told Production Week 45, with a start date of November 10. Got a production number, but I'm not in the system yet. I was told to expect delivery between December 15-25.

So yes... there will be many a Christmas present waiting for the new arrival. Looking like a CAI, 15% pulley, and Milltek exhaust for the Chili Red MCS that's got my name on it. Woot!

 

Mine will be right behind yours... Mine is scheduled for Nov 13th production date

Mine was ordered on October 28 and production on it started October 30, 2006 which was Monday, called today and I am scheduled to complete production by November 8th.

So the dealer told me December 15th or whereabouts, and that sounds about right.

I am scheduled to complete Production on Nov 7th
a MCSC in Astro Black. Dealer said to expect delivery areound Dec. 30

 

Mine is still scheduled for production. Hmmm. Wish I woud hear something as my MA said it was supposed to be built this week. I guess last time I went through this the Ask Mini was always a little behind, so maybe things are chugging along.

 

Just found out Mine is in the body shop! Keep calling ask mini... they do update!

Okay, I just called Ask Mini and they said that my car is in production with a scheduled completion date of November 14th. So which week am I?

 

Yippee! Mine is scheduled for production and estimated completion by Nov 12th!
