Check again! Check again! My VIN just started working this morning and according to WW, my MINI is on the Don Juan -- so I guess that makes him a lover, not a fighter .

I'm in Colorado so now the real waiting begins as it has to make it across the Atlantic, go through the Panama Canal and arrive in Port Hueneme, California.

*edit* So I guess I was just being impatient in my last post as it arrived in Southampton on 11/2, so it only took a day to board a vessel and (with tears in its eyes) say '"Bon Voyage" to jolly olde England. I guess it's kind of a scary journey for such a young pup and he'll most likely need some coddling and TLC once he arrives.

My MINI got left behind! :( It's been at the docks for over a week and ASK-MINI still says its at the docks. I hope he didn't get mugged by ruffians hanging out at the docks.

 

That would suck. I'm guessing that you've already checked your VIN at http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTrac...trackType=Auto ??

The Don Juan isn't supposed to leave port until 11/6, so maybe you'll still be able to grab a space.

 

 

I made it on the boat! Thanks for holding it for me. ASK-MINI still shows it "awaiting transport" but the ship's site shows it on the Don Juan.

Where did you get that GPS shot of the vessel location?

Mine didn't make it. You may want to check out yesterday's posts in the week 44 thread to make sure you made it on the Don Juan. I also posted info there regarding vessel location.

I think I'm in this group. I'm on the West Coast and my Mini is on the Bellona. It should be docking within the next few hours in LA.

Thanks MiniMamaMia for posting those links. I found pics of the "Liberty," the ship that my MINI is on.

 

Does anyone have info on the whereabouts of the Bellona? Has she docked in CA? I'm having a fit because I don't know what's happening!!!

 

Once the ships get close to the VDC, all our tracking abilities go away. All we have is the MINI USA, and that has a delay.

Same thing is happening to me and the "Liberty" on the east coast.

 

My MA told me that MINI was to dock in CA on the 10th. He says that I will have her in a week or two. I'm assuming she was (is) on the Bellona because that was the logical carrier from what I could figure. MINI USA website tells me she is still "enroute." I called ASK MINI and the computer says she is on the dock in the UK waiting for a ship. The MINI USA customer rep says he has no idea where she is. IMHO either they need to get their act together or forget it. I'll see her when I see her......

 

MINI USA is always delayed, and ASK MINI is useless once the your MINI got to the port.

Check the ship schedules on the WW tracking site, they have been fairly accurate so far. It also seems that MA, plural, are good to ask for info, but still a bit general so as to not hurt anyone's feelings.

After it gets to the VDC, it seems we just have to wait and hope it gets to us really really fast!!!

 

For those awaiting the LIBERTY to arrive in SC. It has been delayed by a day. It was supposed to get there tomorrow, Wed 15th, and now it shows thursday 16th.:impatient

A day may not seem like a lot, but when its so close you can taste it, a day seems like forever!!

 

My MINI left on 11/1 aboard the EMDEN. I have been tracking it daily.

Last report was 11/11 and today is 11/14. The arrival date was supposed to be roughly 11/16 into Charleston. My dealer told me recently I might have the car by 11/22 or so....we are getting close now!

Whoa! The 'Don Juan' is such a stud. And it looks like its green color is some shade of British Racing Green, thus making it a fast ship . Hopefully fast enough to get to Port Hueneme, CA by 11/29.

 

Ok, I just had a really weird dream last nite. I had a dream I picked up a MINI-RV from the dealer. It looked like a MINI but was a bit bigger and longer. Inside it looked almost like a regular RV but everything was smaller and the celing was low. I was starting to drive it out on a roadtrip and then I woke up!

 

Dude you are having MINI withdrawals.

 

 

Although it may seem like it shows a lot of ships, all the ships are not shown there. I have been tracking the Liberty and it disappears from time to time, specially when its at port.

If you keep looking you can probably see the ship come down the east coast.
