Stockton is kind of a weird place. Most cities have the good parts and the bad parts pretty well defined. In Stockton, it's all mixed up all over.

You can say that again! I live near Victory Park and the Haggin Museum. My street is lined with trees and very quiet. You wouldn't want to walk by yourself just on the other side of the freeway just a half a mile away! I spent most of my life in Lodi, just north of Stockton. There was definitly the "Wrong side of the tracks", literally. I have a lot of hope for my neighborhood!

Thats good because we were ducking and covering after the race one night due to the automatic gun fire.

Didn't the races take place by the fair grounds on Charter Way? If so, that is one of THE worst areas of town.
