Hello from Stockton, CA
Ain't that the truth. SCCA holds Solo (autocross) events at the fairgrounds, and you have to watch your gear to make sure it STAYS your gear.
Phil Wicks
If you look at his calender I think you'll find his school at Buttonwillow is Sept.30 not Oct. 30. I phoned him last week and he still has room.

The Oct 30 listing was from last year "2006". I do send out updated newletters about evey 10 days-2 weeks. If you want to get added to my MINI Events Newsletter distribution list just send me an email norm@redwoodempiremini.com and I'll put you on.
Cheers,

I don't mean to grave dig the thread but I wanted to save from making a new one. Anyways, I'm new to Stockton and I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good mechanic that specialize in our cars and has resonable prices. If not Stockton, someplace within a 30 mile radius. Thanks in advance.
I live in Manteca (ew), and still go up to Niello in Sacramento as long as the warranty is still in use. They have Saturday hours.
Aside from there, I know of no garage in San Joaquin County that I would trust with a Mini.

Yeah. I'm actually out of the warranty now. I was looking through the yellow pages today and saw this shop called
Buckenham's Stuttgart West Inc
1241 N. El Dorado Road
209-465-4095
I have yet to call them, maybe tomorrow, because the ad said they specialize in BMW and Mercedes.
*mini pooper thanks for the pm. I'll hit those guys up.
