Welcome to NAM & congrats on a great car. Very nice colors you've picked. I recently put a 15% pulley on mine & man are you going to like that. Transforms the car.

Thanks All! Here are the picts!

Thanks all of you! Just picked it up and here are the picts! Slept fine the night before, but couldn't sleep the night after I bought it.

I took it to work today and the Mini became a ride! Everyone wanted to ride in it.

Some people have me worried about the Alta 17% pulley throwing belts and I'm wondering if I should swap it for a 15. OOps, Sorry. I will go to the proper thread and ask that question.

I will try to add an avatar this weekend and do a signature.

Looks sweet (If I ordered that is the color combo I would have gotten) I too ordered through Knauz, very pleased with their service on the whole.

Knauz, who was your MA?

Something with the Pulley, all belts wear over time. If you do a 17 or 19 then you should replace the belt withone that it is the proper size. Also the greater the reduction the hotter oil will run so if you plan on doing road racing at the track then it is not reccomended to have a higher reduction. On the whole pulleis have tended to be reliable, recently I've heard of a handful (out of thousands) that have had significant issues, much I believe was due to quality of install.

Dash Color

I am really glad I ordered the colored dash. It looks more nostagic and has heritage roots. Most cars of today seldom have that.

P.S. David O. was my MA @ Knauz.
